Mr. Bambam asked: I have been reading a lot of books on real estate investment and stocks. I want to start investing. At the moment I’m short on capital however I would like to receive training (mentoring) on investing in the meanwhile. I learn good by reading but I learn excellently when someone is showing and explaining thing to me.

kiko asked: I would like to start doing real estate closings and loan processing for local companies but I don’t know where to start, or to find out if there is anything like that where I live. I live in a rural area, surrounded by very small cities. Where is the best place to find information about where to call or write to get me started. I have over 4 years experince doing both. I would like to work for myself, not for just one certian company.

Tanya P asked: Hi,
I would like to start an ( mostly) online real estate referral business.
Although I know some basics and hold a current CA Real Estate license, I was wondering if anyone could point me towards some books or websites that have correct and useful information on starting such a business.
Thank you

Melissa T asked: I am a real estate sales agent with a small real estate company in Southern, NJ. I signed up with my company about 3 weeks ago and I just realized that they really don’t train me on anything, like they originally said. I want to get clients on my own because they don’t train me or assist me with anything. THey basically gave me some business cards they printed and sent me on my way.
How can I build my business? What are some creative techniques for getting leads?

pinkplaid610 asked: I just received the real estate broker license in California, and plan to do brokerage business. I’m not planning to setup a company or hire any agent. I’m thinking about joining Orange County Association of Realtors. Do I really need E&O insurance? What steps am I missing? Any advice will be appreciated.

tyghtshots asked: Thank you all for responding so promptly to my question on obtaining a real estate license. Now I see and understand that I don’t need one to locate the apartment, but the obtaining the education would be beneficial to me. If I want to enter into a contract with an apartment complex do I need a license for that? I wouldn’t show the apartment to the renter, but I’d let them know where it was and all of the other fun stuff that comes along with the search.
Thank you all!
