Deal with a real estate lawyer? Draw up a residential purchase agreement and then deal with the title and escrow company ourselves? I’d be interested in hearing from anyone that has gone through this process themselves, thank you.

jdtt34 asked: How many real estate signs can be posted on one property? I have been directed in many directions that have led me down a dead end. The Dept of State told me to call the Association of Realtors. The Association of Realtors said that they would call me back (but have not). The Dept of Transportation does not get back. I have three real estate signs next to me. One sign obstructs my view to get out of my driveway. I have asked to have this moved and they move it a foot left to right but not out of my view. I have 0% visibility here and need the sign moved to removed. The later is preferable, because I think that three signs is excessive for this house (which is spectacular I might ad). The multiple signs cheapen it. What are my options here? I am looking at an accident in my near future.

Sheila D asked: My husband and I are currently looking to buy a home in Massachusetts. We have had a run-in with two real estate salespersons in regards to our “ethics”. We are first time home buyers and we were under the impression that, when signing the disclosure, we were using the salesperson ONLY as a facilitator. We did not disclose that we have several family members who are in the business, as we had not discussed our home-buying with them. After viewing a few houses with a facilitator, a week later, we decided it would be in our best interest to use a family member as our buying agent. We have recieved both phone calls and emails from two salespeople of an extremely unprofessional manner. What should we do in this situation? Were we in the wrong? Are we in a position to file a ligitimate complaint?

But, would the real estate agent be able to give me a better price on the overall home? Should the real estate agents price override that $1,000 cash? How do I get the best deal?
Thanks.
FYI, the $1,000 is for community members to refer their friends (my friend is not a real estate agent).
EXCELLENT point on the real estate agent…they get 6% around here and the house I’m thinking of costs $118,000. I could “save” them almost $8,000 by going at it alone.

Can someone please inform me on how to become a real estate agent? I am also looking for soem stories from beginner agents. Are the first couple of years rough? How fast did you get into the swing of things? Was it hard to get hired? Any information to help me make my decision will be beneficial. My husband is supportive of my goals, but I have limited time due to my current career and my son. I also should say that I don’t have a 4 year degree. I have some college under my belt. (Home built in 2006, around 1500 sq)
How much of a difference can I expect from the real estate appraisal? Lower or Higher?
Are homes usually valued around the same as the tax appraisal?
What kind of problems can I face if the appraiser values the home too low or high?
The appraisal would be for the purchase of a home, right now the asking price is 96K( it’s a foreclosure).
